PROJECT LOCATION

The Painted Sky Neighbourhood Plan area is located in Langdon, Rocky View County, approximately 20 minutes east of the city of Calgary. The lands are located immediately south of Provincial Highway 560 (Glenmore Trail), east of Range Road 273 (Vale View Road) and north of Township Road 233 (Railway Avenue). The existing neighbourhood of Langdon Crossings West and the proposed neighbourhood of Mornington are located immediately to the east.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

The Painted Sky Neighbourhood Plan [Conceptual Scheme] application plan was approved by Rocky View County in September, 2017. The plan focuses on the NW ¼ and a portion of the SW ¼ of the neighborhood and includes a detailed development concept for a specific area. It addresses things such as proposed density, servicing and transportation, and high-level information on what the built environment will look like including lot configuration and parcel sizes.
